I was deeply concerned about the incident shot – then I met Andy.
He just booked a flight to NY and met me in person at my editing room at Technicolor. We went through all shots – once. The talks with Andy are candid, story-oriented, less technical. And I don’t know about any techniques anyway, as long as the VFX remains invisible.
THOSE FUCKING VFX NINJAS REALLY KILLED IT!
The incident, the eyebrow: unbeatable – they were throwing shots on me I would approve after first submission. What a level, what a deadline, you can not achieve that by talent alone. It also takes courage and dealing with inputs and criticisms of a film director.
Batelion fully committed to my film
– out of passion – that’s what the shots say and I agree.
